Privacy Policy

Amor Budget tracks a budget you type in yourself. This page says what we hold, where it sits, who else can see it, and how you get rid of it.

What we collect

• Your email address, so you can sign in. Sign in with Apple or Google instead and we receive whatever address that provider hands us. Your Apple or Google password never reaches us.
• Your password, if you set one, stored as a hash by our authentication provider. Nobody at Amor Budget can read it back.
• Your name, if you give one or your sign-in provider passes it along. It greets you on your own Home screen and goes nowhere else.
• The money you enter: income, expenses, categories, merchant names you type, savings accounts, bills, and the Needs, Wants and Savings split you choose. We never connect to a bank and never ask for a banking login.
• A push token for your device, if you switch on reminders. Apple needs it to deliver the notification and we use it for nothing else.

Where it sits

Your account and everything in it lives with Supabase, who provide our database and sign-in. Row-level security guards every table and is scoped to your account, so another user cannot read your rows even if they go looking.

The home screen widget works differently. Your phone keeps today's Wants figures in a private container that only Amor Budget and its widget can open. That copy stays on the device, travels to no server, and is wiped when you sign out.

Who else sees it

We sell your data to nobody and hand it to no advertiser. The app carries no analytics and no advertising code, so nothing here follows you between apps or across the web.

Four outside parties touch it at all: Supabase, who store it; Apple, who deliver your reminders if you turn them on; Apple or Google, if you use one of them to sign in; and Shopify, who run our shop.

The app's Home screen shows a shelf of our merch, and it asks Shopify for the public product list to draw it. That request carries nothing about you, no account and no figures, so Shopify sees an app fetching a page anyone can load. Nothing you enter in the app is ever sent to the shop.

Deleting your data

Open Profile in the app and delete your account. That erases every transaction, budget, recurring bill and savings account you have entered, and we cannot bring any of it back. Prefer that we do it for you? Write to support@amorbudget.com and we will.

Children

Amor Budget is built for adults managing their own money. We do not aim it at children under 13 and we do not knowingly keep their data. Tell us at support@amorbudget.com if a child has made an account and we will remove it.

Changes

When what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. The same text appears inside the app, under Profile.
